**Role**: Full Stack Developer
**Location**: Austin, TX
We are seeking a Full Stack Java Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience. This role involves contributing to a dynamic, fast-paced, mission-driven project, offering the opportunity to enhance skills while supporting a meaningful cause. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
* Extensive experience in designing and working with n-tier architectures (UI, business logic, data access layers) and distributed architectures using integration hubs like DataPower, Mule, or other ESBs.
* Strong expertise in J2EE Framework, including Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring Data, and Spring Core, as well as JSP, EJB, servlets, JNDI, JDBC, JMS, JTA, Log4J, thread management, and asynchronous Java processes.
* Experience developing REST and SOAP services with JAX-WS/RS and/or Spring Framework.
* Skilled in building multi-module projects, compiling, and packaging source code into JARs, WARs, and EARs, and deploying in application servers (WebSphere, JBoss, etc.).
* Proficient in TypeScript or ECMAScript (ES6 or newer).
* Experience with CSS, SCSS, Bootstrap, or similar for styling.
* Frontend development experience, preferably with React or Angular, and Node.js.
* Proficiency in writing unit test cases using Jest, Enzyme, or Mocha.
* Hands-on experience with relational databases (Oracle or similar) and strong SQL/database principles beyond data access.
* Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technologies.
* Recent hands-on development experience.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with leadership and clients.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Self-motivated, independent, detail-oriented, and a team player.
