**Job Description:**

We are seeking an experienced **Functional Automation Tester** with strong expertise in test automation frameworks and functional testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts, along with strong functional testing knowledge to validate business processes and application workflows.

**Responsibilities:**

– Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements.
– Develop, maintain, and execute automation test scripts for functional and regression testing.
– Perform functional, integration, system, and UAT testing.
– Work with tools such as **Selenium, Java, TestNG/JUnit, Cucumber, or similar frameworks**.
– Create detailed test cases, test data, and ensure complete test coverage.
– Identify, log, and track defects using JIRA or similar tools.
– Ensure automation is integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
– Provide test status reports and ensure timely delivery of test activities.

**Required Skills:**

– 8+ years of experience in **functional testing and automation testing**.
– Strong hands-on experience with **Selenium WebDriver, Java, and BDD/Cucumber**.
– Experience with **API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured, SoapUI, etc.)**.
– Strong knowledge of **SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies**.
– Experience with **CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Maven, etc.)**.
– Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
– Must be **local and available onsite** from day one.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $50.00 – $60.00 per hour
