**About Malatown**

Malatown is a rapidly growing, directly operated restaurant brand. Currently, we have seven locations in operation with over 100 employees, primarily consisting of Chinese and Mexican staff. Our stores are mainly located in Boston, New York, New Jersey, and the San Francisco Bay Area.

Since opening our first store in October 2023, we have been expanding rapidly. Our mission is to introduce authentic Malatang to a broader audience across the United States, building recognition for this unique culinary experience. Our vision is to develop into a fast-casual restaurant chain with 50 locations within 3-5 years.

**We are currently hiring for an HR role:**

We are seeking a highly skilled HR professional who will play a key role in shaping the future of Malatown’s workforce. This position will involve key responsibilities in both organizational development and talent management.

– Language Requirement:
**Must be fluent in Chinese.**
– Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, with a deep understanding of what makes an outstanding HR professional.
– Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with the capability to drive cross-departmental collaboration effectively.
– Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, ensuring the achievement of organizational goals efficiently.
– Qualifications & Experience: A degree in a related field or 1-2 years of HR experience.
– Cultural Sensitivity: Experience working with diverse teams, especially in a multicultural environment, is highly valued.
– Visa Support: We support H1B and OPT.

**Organizational Development & Effectiveness**

– Serve as a trusted advisor and active participant in the management team, assisting in the formulation and execution of key business decisions.
– Design and implement employee training and development programs to enhance retention and career growth.
– Monitor training effectiveness and return on investment (ROI), developing action plans for continuous improvement.
– Oversee performance management, including performance reviews, corrective actions, career development, and improvement plans to enhance organizational efficiency.
– Foster company culture by organizing Q1-Q4 development conferences to ensure every employee clearly understands the company’s Vision and Mission. Establish a monthly Employee of the Month recognition program to motivate and inspire the team.

**Talent Management & Development**

– Manage the end-to-end talent acquisition process, including recruitment, interviewing, and hiring for all positions.
– Focus on talent development by formulating and executing career growth plans, including:
– Onboarding programs
– Leadership development
– Continuous training initiatives
– Ensure that talent development aligns with Malatown’s long-term goals and growth strategies.
