**Human Resources Manager**

**Pfister Energy, Inc.** is a renewable energy company providing innovative power solutions and energy efficiency measures for commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities. We are a national developer and EPC of turnkey renewable energy, energy efficiency, and on-site distributed power generation systems, with over 600 megawatts (MW) of solar electric power (PV) installed in the United States. Pfister Energy provides in-house project development, engineering, pre-construction, project management, installation, system commissioning, and operations/maintenance.

**About the role**

As the **Human Resources Manager**, you will play a critical role in overseeing all aspects of HR operations within our company. You will be responsible for ensuring legal compliance, managing recruitment and onboarding, overseeing employee relations, administering benefits, and supporting HR strategy and development.

**Job Responsibilities**

**HR Policy and Compliance**

* Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
* Maintain legal compliance throughout human resource management.
* Update and maintain employee handbooks for office and field employees to ensure policies are current and aligned with legal requirements.
* Effectively communicate policy updates to all employees.

**Recruitment and Onboarding**

* Maintain job postings for open positions.
* Providing initial screening of candidates and forward resumes to hiring managers.
* Schedule interviews as needed with prospective candidates.
* Preparing offer letters, review them with hiring managers, and sending them to candidates.
* Provide benefits information to candidates during the offer process.
* Own the onboarding process, ensuring all necessary documents are completed and returned, and making sure that all relevant parties are informed for setup purposes.

**Employee Relations and Performance Management**

* Oversee employee relations, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
* Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR-related matters.
* Collaborate with managers to address and resolve employee issues, ensuring a cohesive and supportive work environment.

**Benefits Administration and Immigration**

* Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.
* Ensure all employee information is current and accurate within the benefits portal.
* Manage the H1B and Green Card process, including communication with attorneys and ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and timely.
* Handle all unemployment and workers’ compensation claims.

**Attendance and Leave Management**

* Track and manage employee attendance, PTO, and work-from-home days.
* Ensure compliance with company policies regarding attendance and leaves of absence.

**HR Strategy and Development**

* Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement HR strategies that support organizational objectives.
* Stay up-to-date on HR trends and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive in attracting and retaining top talent.

**HR Systems and Records Management**

* Implement the HR software and maintain accurate HR records.

**Qualifications and Experience**

* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
* 5-7 years of HR experience, 3-5 years in a Management preferred.
* Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
* Experience in Construction or Renewable Energy is a strong plus.
* Proficient in HR Software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively.
* Strong organizational and time-management skills.

**Work Location**: Onsite in Hawthorne, NJ

**Reporting To**: President
