Human Resources Operations Specialist
Full Time, Exempt, Travel up to 10%
Position Description:
The HR Operations Specialist will provide essential support to the HR Director by managing and enhancing HR operations, coordinating training and development programs, managing the recruitment process and employee engagement initiatives. This role will play a key part in supporting the HR department as the company expands, ensuring efficiency and the smooth implementation of strategic HR activities. This position reports to the Director of Human Resources.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in developing and implementation of HR policies, procedures and programs that align with the company’s vision, mission and values.
* Assist with onboarding processes, ensuring new employees have a smooth transition and understand company protocols.
* Assist in management and maintenance of employee records and manage HR information systems efficiently.
* Support the full recruitment cycle, from job postings to scheduling interviews and communicating with candidates.
* Conduct initial candidate screenings and coordinate interview logistics with hiring managers.
* Support the management and coordination of immigration processes, including tracking and maintaining documentation for OPT and H1B visa applicants and current employees, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and timelines.
* Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and support, escalating complex issues to the HR Director.
* Organize and manage employee recognition and reward programs.
* Support conflict resolution and disciplinary processes as needed.
* Ensure adherence to employment laws and regulations, assisting in policy updates.
* Help manage reports and documentation necessary for internal audits and compliance purposes.
* Coordinates and administers performance management processes, including goal tracking and performance reviews.
* Provide support in developing individual employee development plans.
Preferred Position Requirements:
Experience:
* 3-5 years of professional experience in an HR or administrative role with exposure to training and development programs.
* Familiarity with employee relations and performance management processes.
* Previous experience in fast-paced enforcement.
* Basic knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information.
* Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
* Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
* A proactive and collaborative approach to work, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Education:
* A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field preferred.
* HR certification is a plus

* Strong presentation and written skills, with the ability to communicate effectively.
* Professional composure, credibility, and judgment are necessary to gain the respect and confidence of employees.
Proficiency:
* Proficient use of all Microsoft Office suite programs.
