Job description

Terra Labor is seeking immigration attorneys for its office in Houston Office in Texas. Must be interested in working on immigration law cases.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Troubleshoot and establish a case strategy.

· Draft and file petitions/applications.

· Communicate with clients regarding case processing and procedural issues.

· Update and manage status reports.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

· Bachelor’s degree

· Doctor of Jurisprudence

Requirements

· Must be licensed to practice law in Texas.

· 1 year of immigration experience preferred

· Possess a thorough understanding of H1B, H2B, EB3, and TN visas, PERMS, immigrant visa petitions, and consular processing preferred

· Must be proficient in legal research, word processing, and document databases.

· Be able to resolve and troubleshoot complex legal issues.

· Must be able to communicate in English and Spanish

Skills

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Excellent organizational skills and time management.

· Strong proficiency with legal software.

· Proactive support of their client’s legal needs.
