**GENERAL DESCRIPTION**

Terra Labor is seeking for an In-House immigration attorneys in Houston, Texas. Must be interested in working on immigration law cases.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

– Troubleshoot and establish a case strategy.
– Draft and file petitions/applications.
– Communicate with clients regarding case processing and procedural issues.
– Update and manage status reports.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

**Education**

– Bachelor’s degree
– Doctor of Jurisprudence

**Requirements**

– Must be licensed to practice law in Texas.
– 1 year of immigration experience prefered
– Possess a thorough understanding of H1B, H2B, EB3, and TN visas, PERMS, immigrant visa petitions, family based and consular processing prefered
– Must be proficient in legal research, word processing, and document databases.
– Be able to resolve and troubleshoot complex legal issues.
– Must be able to communicate in English and Spanish

**Skills**

– Excellent organizational skills and time management.
– Strong proficiency with a legal software.
– Proactive support of their client’s legal needs.
