Job Description

CCACC is a local non-profit organization focused on serving the needs of the Greater Washington community. We provide a wide variety of services and are composed of seven main departments that touch upon the different needs of community members.

**Position Overview:**

CCACC is seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Specialist to join our team on a full-time basis. This position is ideal for individuals with a substantial network equipment maintenance and basic website development background. As an IT Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our network infrastructure and contributing to the development and maintenance of our website.

**Key Responsibilities:**

Network Equipment Maintenance

* Configure, manage and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
* Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal network functionality.
* Implement security protocols to safeguard network infrastructure, including regular updates and vulnerability assessments.

Basic Website Development

* Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining company websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript technologies.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure the website is user-friendly, regularly updated, and aligned with the company’s branding.
* Perform routine website updates, including content management and minor code adjustments.

IT Support

* Provide technical support to staff, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
* Assist with setting up and maintaining workstations, ensuring all systems are secure and up to date.
* Document and track IT issues and resolutions to improve support efficiency.

**Qualifications:**

* Associate or bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
* Strong understanding of networking concepts and experience with network equipment such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
* Basic web development skills, including proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
* Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, WIX, Drupal) is a plus.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently.
* Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
* Proficiency in Chinese and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
* Prior experience in an IT support role is preferred.
