DeliverIt Infusion & Specialty is searching for a Junior Specialty Intake Coordinator to assist in our infusion, specialty, and nursing service intaking.

**Essential Roles and Responsibilities:**

* Conduct initial intakes to ensure eligibility of potential patients.
* Obtain medical histories and personal information of new patients.
* Update medical records of existing patients.
* Review documents for accuracy and completeness.
* Prepare new patient paperwork.
* Assist with billing as needed.
* Conduct medical benefits verification as directed.

**Qualifications:**

* 1-3 years’ experience with medical benefits verification is preferred.
* 1-3 years’ experience with deductibles, max out of pockets, and coinsurance is preferred.
* Basic math skills are necessary.
* Advanced math skills are ideal.
* 1-3 years’ experience with prior authorization is preferred.
* 1-3 years’ experience with Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) claims is preferred.
* 1-3 years’ experience with CareTend and/or CPR+ software is preferred.
* Pharmacy technician experience is preferred.

**Proficiency in any of the following languages is encouraged, but not required:**

Spanish

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

* 8 hour shift

* High school or equivalent (Preferred)
