LHH is seeking a Manufacturing Project Manager a manufacturing client located in Indianapolis, IN. In this position you will be responsible for overseeing and driving the successful planning, execution, and completion of diverse projects within the organization. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that new product projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The projects you will be managing may span across different functions, including manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, process improvement, and new product development. The salary range for this position is 85-95,000 plus health, dental, vision insurance, generous PTO, plus 401k matching.
Responsibilities:
* New Product Project Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines. Develop comprehensive project plans and resource allocation strategies.
* Project Execution: Lead the project team, ensuring clear communication, coordination, and adherence to project milestones. Oversee project progress and implement corrective actions when necessary.
* Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges that may impact project success. Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to minimize disruptions.
* Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively to maximize project efficiency and productivity. Coordinate with team members and stakeholders to optimize resource utilization.
* Budget Control: Monitor project budgets, expenses, and financial performance. Implement cost-saving measures and ensure projects stay within allocated budgets.Project Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and other relevant records.
* Quality Assurance: Uphold the company’s commitment to quality standards throughout the project lifecycle. Conduct regular quality checks and inspections to meet customer expectations.
* Stakeholder Management: Establish strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and customers. Communicate project updates and progress reports regularly.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Proven Experience: MUST HAVE a Minimum of 3+ years of experience with Project Program Manager in the MANUFACTURING industry or a very similar technical environment.
* Experience with Project Management software, Agile, Scrum, or Sprint methodologies is strongly preferred.
* Certification: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
* Project Management Skills: Strong project management expertise with a track record of successful project delivery on time and within budget.
* Leadership Abilities: Exceptional leadership and team management skills to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
* Analytical Thinking: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify project challenges and implement effective solutions.
* Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
* Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
* Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with automotive manufacturing processes, industry regulations, and quality standards.
