* Job Title: Monitoring Engineer
* Location: Remote
* Duration: 6+ Months
* Tools: Use of APM tool, specifically CA APM/Broadcom APM (now called DX APM).

Requirements

* Experience developing application alerts, dashboards using Dynatrace, CA APM/Broadcom APM.
* Scripting experience with Groovy, Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, Linux/Unix shell scripting, and other programming languages.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
* Quick learning, self-motivated and independent.
* Experience with visualization, and diagramming of applications.

Desired Skills

* Performance analysis, operation support and tuning experience for monitoring applications.
* Windows or Linux administration.
* Experience with monitoring needs for on-prem/cloud network infrastructure.
* Experience with automation, visualization, and diagramming applications.
* Experience in integration of applications and application data.
* Good understanding of management process frameworks, such as ITIL.
* Familiarity with monitoring tools like LogicMonitor Network Performance and Network Configuration Manager, NetFlow and Spectrum.
* Experience monitoring in Azure environment.
* SNMPv3, v2c configuration and trap expertise.
* Knowledge of TCP and other network protocols (BGP routing and other routing protocols).
