**Job Summary**
The MuleSoft Integration Architect will be responsible for designing, governing, and implementing enterprise-grade integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. This role requires deep expertise in API-led connectivity, integration patterns, microservices architecture, DevOps, and cloud-native technologies. The Architect will work closely with stakeholders, technical teams, and business leaders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance integration ecosystems.
**Key Responsibilities**
– Lead end-to-end MuleSoft integration architecture design, planning, and implementation.
– Define reusable integration templates, RAML specifications, and API governance standards.
– Translate business requirements into secure, scalable technical solutions using API-led methodology.
– Develop architectural artifacts including HLD, LLD, sequence diagrams, and data flow models.
– Oversee MuleSoft API Manager configuration, runtime management, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps automation.
– Guide development teams on integration best practices, data mapping, error handling, monitoring, and performance tuning.
– Ensure adherence to enterprise security, compliance, and data protection standards.
– Establish API lifecycle governance, versioning, reusability, observability, and monitoring.
– Partner with enterprise architects on cloud migration (AWS / Azure / GCP) and hybrid integration.
– Support capacity planning, environment strategy, clustering, runtime fabric, and on-prem/cloud deployments.
– Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, design assessments, and performance audits.
**Required Skills & Qualifications**
– 15+ years total experience in Integration, SOA, ESB, Microservices, or API architecture.
– 7+ years hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (Design Center, API Manager, Exchange, RTF, CloudHub 1/2.0).
– Strong experience in enterprise integration patterns (EIP), REST/SOAP, OData, Async messaging, Kafka, JMS, MQ.
– Strong knowledge of RAML, DataWeave 2.0, OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect, JWT, TLS, and security policies.
– Expertise with CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, Maven, Nexus, Docker, Kubernetes).
– Cloud expertise: AWS / Azure / GCP including VPC, VPN, ingress/egress, private link, security groups.
– Strong knowledge of databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, and NoSQL.
– Experience integrating with SaaS apps: Salesforce, Workday, SAP, Oracle ERP, ServiceNow, NetSuite, etc.
– Ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate with executive stakeholders.
– MuleSoft Certified (Architect and/or Developer) preferred.
**Nice-to-Have Skills**
– Runtime Fabric, Mule 4 performance tuning, multi-cloud Hybrid connectivity.
– Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Helm, Istio, OpenShift experience.
– Event-driven architecture using Kafka, Pub/Sub, or AWS/MS messaging services.
– AI-based automation, logging & observability using ELK, Splunk, Grafana, Dynatrace, or CloudWatch.
– Salesforce Integration & certification is a strong plus.

**Education**
