Network Engineer – Locals Only

Job Description

A Public Sector client of ours is looking for a Network Engineer to work on their ongoing project in the Saint Paul, MN office.

Below are the additional details of this role:

Required Skills:

* Three (3) or more years of network hardware and software technology experience.
* Expert knowledge Cisco hardware switches, VPN and IOS.
* Expert knowledge and skills in TCP/IP.
* Expert knowledge of network test equipment, including Sniffers and other protocol analysers Savvius Omni Peek.
* Ability to perform advanced technical issue analysis and troubleshooting within a router/switch infrastructure.
* Knowledge of Network Quality of Service (QOS) techniques and network Management systems.
* Strong analytical, oral and written communications, problem solving, and human relations skills.
* Experience with Checkpoint, Palo Alto, 9300, Catalyst series switches and operating system (NX-OS).
* Experience with Software Defined Networking solutions.
* Experience with F5 Big IP (LTM, ASM, AFM, APM).
