Inside the Role
The PLM & NX Solutions Architect will play a critical role in transforming business needs into technical requirements that are shared with the development team and ensuring the successful implementation of changes, enhancements, and related project rollouts. This position requires exceptional knowledge and implementation experience in Teamcenter and related Siemens PLM software, a strong understanding of PLM/MBE concepts, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and assist in the deployment, and support of Product Life-cycle Management solutions, and NX client rollouts. This position offers experience throughout the entire software life cycle while working directly with a manufacturing organization that keeps the world moving.

Position offers a starting salary range of $110,500 – $141,500 USD
Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience

What You Drive at DTNA* Collaborate with key stakeholders, including business analysts and end-users, to understand their requirements
* Develop prototypes and/or concepts and demonstrate solutions to business requirements
* Identify and review data models, workflows, and integration needs with other enterprise systems where needed
* Work with development teams to ensure the configuration and custom development are designed and developed based on the requirements
* Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-geographic teams, business stakeholders, and end-users to understand business needs and transform into solutions
* Implement Next Gen PLM initiatives within the organization to continuously enhance capabilities, user adoption, and value
* Implement and identify enhancements and module functionalities within Teamcenter, including CAD integration, data management, workflow automation, and configuration
* Recommend solutions based on the latest Teamcenter PLM releases enhancements, industry best practices, and proactively identify opportunities for system improvements.
* Mentor and guide existing team members in Teamcenter
* Understand and demonstrate how Siemens solutions will alter and integrate with customers’ initiatives, business drivers, value, and impact
* Analyze and translate business requirements into an architectural blueprint that outlines solutions that integrate across applications, systems, and platforms to achieve business objectives
* Bring to bear industry standard methodologies and templates for the Siemens Software solution delivered to provide customer value
* Lead the application of Solution Definition and Solution Enablement elements
* Provide accurate and timely information to project management team collaborating on reporting project status, issues, risks, and benefits
* Establish, build, and maintain effective relationships with internal or external customers technical peers and build new relationships through networking within the functional areas and other involved parties to support effective delivery
* Set and lead business’ expectations, demonstrating thought leadership to effectively influence key contacts and recommend solutions
* In conjunction with the senior project leadership and account team, apply customer management methods to support successful adoption of a viable solutions
* Be responsible for validation activities, including any required prototyping, with the business function to verify if the outstanding templated solution applies to the business’ environment, rationalize, and defend selected solution and explain why and how this solution will deliver the highest value to their business
* Outline process changes that will need to occur and assist the customer drive Organizational Change.
Knowledge You Should Bring* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
* Minimum 5-7+ years of experience in Siemens Teamcenter in a manufacturing environment with minimal 3 years of experience with Siemens Teamcenter PLM and Siemens NX
* Knowledge of Teamcenter Installation and Infrastructure is preferred
* Knowledge of Teamcenter data model is preferred
* Must have 3 years of experience in Teamcenter Product Structure Management
* Must have 3 years of experience in Teamcenter Change Management
* Must have 3 years experience in other Teamcenter Configurations: Workflows, Access Manager, Queries, Classification, Organization, etc.
* Must have 3 years of experience with various NX applications like Modelling, Drafting etc
* Experience participating in a collaborative team environment
* Self-motivated and able to work independently
* Strong service orientation experience
* Ability to lead and execute project plans/activities
* Pro-active thinking and behavior
* Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
* Experience principles in project execution
* Excellent presentation skills
