Job Description

A Public Sector client of ours is looking for an Open-Source Software Developer to work on their ongoing project in the Lansing, MI office.

Below are the additional details of this role:

Required Skills:

* 2+ Years of experience with application deployment within containers; specifically Red Hat OpenShift. Must have current experience with Kubernetes.
* 2+ Years of experience with web application development and strong interest in expanding skillset including Elixir and ReactJS.
* Experience with a different functional language like Scala, Haskell, or Clojure is helpful if no Elixir experience.
* 2+ Years of experience installing and configuring open-source SQL databases such as PostgreSQL.
* 2+ Years of experience troubleshooting database connections, performing back-ups, and developing queries.
* 2+ Years of experience with configuration management and source code repositories including use of Helm, Quay for container images, and GitHub

This role can be W2 or 1099/C2C and is open for anyone with valid work authorization in the US. H1B transfer candidates are more than welcome to apply for this role.
