Big Data Engineer (Oracle, On-Prem Architecture)

Direct Hire

Philadelphia area – hybrid (relocation available where applicable)

H1B, USC or GCH will only be considered

NO C2C

In this role, you will:

• Design, develop, and support database applications for data systems

• Design, develop, and support Linux shell scripts and Python for batch processing

• Design solutions using Hadoop, Hive, Druid, Spark technologies

• Maintain and support our Oracle database instance and applications in a high-transaction environment (On-Prem)

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience with database development and database administration – Oracle, MariaDB, Hadoop (Cloud DBA will not be considered)

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline or its foreign equivalent

TOP 3 Technical Skills, hands on experience required:

* Oracle database development
* PySpark
* On premise Hadoop Architecture
Additional experience should include Python and Unix Shell scripting and extracting or loading data between RDBMS and Big Data
