Job Description

Position: Oracle Developer (with Hadoop)

Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid 3 days in office and 2 days remote)

Duration: 12 month contract (ext. up to 36 months)

Must haves:

* “They are looking for an Oracle developer w/Hadoop and some reporting”
* Can sit in CTL with team

Job Description:

* 7 + years’ experience with database development using Oracle database and PL/SQL programming
* Strong PL/SQL programming experience along with experience in database performance tuning
* Strong Data Modelling and Data Analytical skills (for data stored in Oracle / SQL Server)
* Interaction with onsite leadership/developer and strong technical background
* Strong experience with migrating data into Hadoop as this is a migration to Hadoop project.
* Experience with ETL technologies.
* Experienced technologist with strong database and data modelling experience, ability to work across multiple teams to ensure consistent implementation of the data model
* Experience in the IT field with experience as Data Modeler and Data Analysts for large and complex systems
* Experience using Scrum and following Agile best practices

Preferred:

* Banking experience
* MicroStrategy or Tableau
