Job Title: Oracle EBS Administrator

Location: Sacramento, CA

Duration: 6+ Months

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our Oracle EBS environments. The role involves system administration, performance tuning, patching, cloning, and ensuring system availability for business-critical operations. The ideal candidate will work closely with DBAs, developers, and functional teams to ensure a stable and secure Oracle EBS infrastructure.

**Key Responsibilities**

– Install, configure, and maintain Oracle EBS environments (R12.x).
– Perform EBS application administration including patching, cloning, and upgrades.
– Monitor and optimize system performance, including troubleshooting performance issues.
– Administer concurrent managers, workflow, and other Oracle EBS components.
– Apply and validate Oracle EBS patches and security updates.
– Work with DBA team to manage Oracle database environments supporting EBS.
– Schedule and monitor backups and recovery processes for EBS applications.
– Ensure system security and compliance with IT policies.
– Collaborate with development and functional teams to support application changes and deployments.
– Maintain and document environment configurations, change logs, and administration procedures.

**Required Skills & Experience**

– 9+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle EBS Administrator.
– Strong knowledge of Oracle EBS R12 architecture, components, and administration tools.
– Proficient in application cloning, patching, and concurrent manager administration.
– Experience with Linux/Unix operating systems for EBS administration.
– Familiarity with Oracle database administration concepts (in collaboration with DBA team).
– Strong troubleshooting skills in application, middleware, and integration layers.
– Knowledge of Oracle WebLogic Server, Forms/Reports Services, and Oracle SOA Suite.
– Ability to work in a 24×7 support environment (on-call as needed).
