Role Description

Ideal candidate is a strong SME on Oracle Utilities billing component v1.6.x, comfortable with reading and debugging customization code written in Rules Lang, and able to develop enhancements to existing functionality. Candidate has moderate to high exposure to retail or wholesale Utility energy billing, with functional knowledge of major bill determinants.

Required Skills/Competencies

Oracle Utilities Billing Component v1.6.x(Expert)

Linux Shell Scripting(Expert)

SQL and PL/SQL programming(Expert)

Pro*C programming(Advanced)

MDM(Meter Data Management) using ITRON IEE client(Expert)

6+ years of technical support role in retail or wholesale power billing.

Experience to liaison with business stakeholders gather and execute requirements.

Experience with DOS scripts and batch processing

Moderate experience with Access VBA macros

Proficiency with Perl and/or Power Shell scripting is a plus.

Fluent spoken and written communication skills, and effective team collaboration skills

Attention to detail and willingness to adhere to rules and standards.

Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulations surrounding financial transactions and reporting.

Education Level

Bachelors degree; or Associates degree plus two years’ experience
