**Position Summary**:

The PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) will be responsible for providing skilled physical therapy services under the supervision of a Registered Physical Therapist (RPT). The PTA will work closely with the therapy team to implement and modify treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and ensure each resident’s rehabilitation goals are met in a compassionate and professional environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

* Provide skilled physical therapy services in accordance with physician orders and under the supervision of a Registered Physical Therapist (RPT).
* Respond to service requests, relay information, and refer to the Registered Physical Therapist as needed.
* Implement and adjust the patient’s physical therapy plan of care based on RPT’s supervision and patient progress.
* Measure, monitor, and record residents’ motor function, strength, and muscle performance.
* Observe patient responses to treatments and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans during sessions.
* Write and maintain accurate progress reports for each patient’s treatment.
