Location: Remote

Duration: 12+ months

Must Have: SOX app called SUITS experience.

Job Summary

We are seeking a talented PL/SQL Developer to join our data management and development team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing database applications and ensuring that our systems operate efficiently. The ideal candidate has strong experience with Oracle databases, PL/SQL programming, and a solid understanding of relational database principles.

Key Responsibilities

* Design, develop, and optimize complex PL/SQL code, including stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
* Collaborate with business analysts and developers to gather requirements and translate them into efficient database solutions.
* Perform data analysis and database troubleshooting, identifying and resolving any data-related issues.
* Optimize and tune SQL queries and PL/SQL code to improve system performance.
* Participate in database design and architecture, ensuring scalability, security, and data integrity.
* Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for database systems, procedures, and processes.
* Implement data migration, extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes as required.
* Maintain data quality and monitor database health, ensuring efficient storage and retrieval.

Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
* Experience with Oracle databases and PL/SQL programming.
* Strong understanding of relational database concepts and best practices.
* Proficiency in SQL query optimization, indexing, and tuning for high-performance data retrieval.
* Experience with ETL and data integration processes.
* Knowledge of data warehousing and business intelligence concepts is a plus.
* Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
* Experience with Oracle tools (e.g., SQL*Plus, SQL Developer, TOAD) and data modeling tools is preferred.
