Job Description

**Position : Postgres DBA**

**Location : Hybrid ( Sunnyvale CA , Austin TX )**

**CLIENT : TCS/Apple**

**Interview – Virtual**

**Visa : USC/H1B**

**Note This is completely onsite position from Day One, If Ex TCS (Contract ) then share the BA ID also**

**Relocation is okay**

Role Description:

Candidate must be proficient in Postgres DBA.

5+ years of experience as a PostgreSQL DBA in production environments

Strong understanding of PostgreSQL architecture and internals

Proficiency in SQL, PL/pgSQL, and performance tuning techniques

Experience with PostgreSQL replication, failover, and clustering

Familiarity with tools such as pgAdmin, psql, Patroni, pgBouncer

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS RDS for PostgreSQL, GCP Cloud SQL, or Azure Database for PostgreSQL)

Strong Linux/Unix skills (shell scripting, crontab, system monitoring)

Experience working in CI/CD environments with version-controlled database changes

Solid understanding of data security, compliance, and access control policies
