**Job Summary:** The Practice Management Operations Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting the Revenue Cycle Management team by utilizing NextGen software to ensure efficient billing and claims submission processes. This role involves setting up and maintaining key elements within the Practice Management system, assisting with workflow setups, and addressing system-related issues promptly.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* **System Setup and Maintenance:**

+ Configure and manage groups, providers, locations, and payers in the Practice Management system.
+ Assist in the setup of task workflows to streamline operations.
+ Set up and manage Background Business Processor (BBP) jobs.

* **Issue Resolution:**

+ Address and resolve any billing system problems accurately and in a timely manner.
+ Perform regular data maintenance tasks to ensure system integrity and accuracy.
* **Documentation and Reporting:**

+ Maintain a comprehensive log of system changes and updates.
+ Provide regular updates and reports to the Director of RCM on system performance and issues.

**Qualifications:**

* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Healthcare background with knowledge of billing systems.
* Thorough understanding of the full billing process.
* Organized, multitasker, and quick learner.
* Proficient in Excel.
