**Job Responsibilities**:
* Provide overall management, communications, integration and coordination of all activities
* Serve as a subject matter expert, collaborating with other teams and advising key stakeholders on data strategy, usage, and reporting.
* Survey a broad base of literature sources to select citations pertinent to HIV, TB, and HBV preclinical therapeutic and drug discovery efforts
* Develop recommendations or guidelines for selecting information to be abstracted and added to the existing resource(CHEMDB).
* Monitor literature and patent databases including Web of Science, PubMed, SciFinder, full text U.S. patents and publicly accessible international patents (e.g. Espace.net);
* identify relevant published research findings on experimental therapies for HIV, TB, and HBV and abstract targeted chemical and biological data from cited publications.
* Develop a Surveillance Strategy(ies) Plan (SSP) for monitoring current literature and patent sources for experimental therapies for HIV, TB and HBV.
* Develop a Data Abstraction Recommendation Plan (DARP) to determine which articles identified during execution of the SSP will be recommended for data abstraction.
* Conduct a monthly literature and patent search, using the procedures outlined in the SSP, and prepare a Literature Surveillance Report
* Abstract and enter the chemical and biological information below into the Chemical Resource(CHEMDB)
* Maintain current information and update existing compound records as additional information becomes available in the literature
**Requirements**:
* Master’s Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Epidemiology, Public Health or related field.
* At least five years of related experience in HIV/TB care, prevention, and/or health policy.
