A Public Sector client of ours is looking for a Product Owner/Portfolio Manager to work on their ongoing project in the Des Moines, IA office.

**Below are the additional details of this role:**

**Required Qualifications:**

**We need a minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in the following.**

– Product ownership, portfolio management
– Project management: planning/managing scope, budget, timeline, resources; coordinating project activities
– Requirement elicitation, documentation and articulation between teams
– Proficient understanding of the software development lifecycle and related methodologies
– Experience partnering with vendor project teams, managing relationships and vendor management
– High quality documentation: project plans, status updates, presentations, requirements, user stories, process maps, instructions
– Demonstrated strong communication skills across technical teams and business stakeholders, specifically to leadership – setting/resetting expectations
– Guide stages of agile software development, including user story development, sprint planning, and prioritization of the product backlog
– IT vendor management

This role can be W2 or 1099/C2C and is open for anyone with valid work authorization in the US. H1B transfer candidates are more than welcome to apply for this role.
