**Product Project Engineer**

**Onsite | Houston, TX 77095**

A well-established manufacturing company with nearly four decades of industry experience specializes in the design and manufacture of Electronically Commutated (EC) motors and complete blower assemblies. Their solutions are widely used in commercial kitchens and other industrial applications, helping customers reduce carbon emissions while improving operational efficiency.

**Position Overview**

The Product Project Engineer will report directly to the Director of Product Management and play a key role in leading product-related projects from concept through delivery. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role within a small, collaborative team environment.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical background, strong project ownership, and a business-oriented mindset. This person must be highly responsive, organized, and comfortable working across time zones, including occasional evening calls with overseas suppliers.

**Key Responsibilities**

– Lead product development and project execution initiatives
– Manage timelines, technical requirements, and cross-functional coordination
– Evaluate product costing and support pricing strategy
– Prepare and send proposals to the sales team
– Work closely with engineering, operations, and overseas suppliers
– Support customer inquiries and provide technical guidance as needed
– Contribute ideas around product positioning and value-added services

**Qualifications**

– Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
– 2–4 years of relevant experience
– Strong mechanical foundation with project management exposure
– Experience in motors, HVAC, pumps, commercial kitchen equipment, or similar industries preferred
– Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
– Strong communication skills; comfortable in a somewhat customer-facing role
– Willingness to work flexible hours when needed due to overseas suppliers
– Mandarin speaking is a strong plus
