This position is eligible for telework to applicants who reside in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota, or South Dakota. Telework eligibility is based on the business needs of the unit and is at supervisory discretion. Commuting to the St. Paul office location for occasional in-person meetings is expected.
Seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Management Office (PMO) Manager to lead and oversee our organization’s project portfolio and ensure efficient delivery of business-critical initiatives. This role involves managing multiple projects, coordinating cross-functional team, and ensuring adherence to best practices in project management. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in portfolio management, capable of driving high-priority, high-visibility projects from beginning to end.

### **Minimum Qualifications**
* 5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on business and technology projects
* 4+ years in project portfolio management
* Expertise in business analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies
* Strong understanding of project management frameworks, including Agile, Waterfall and hybrid models
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
* Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, ensuring clarity and understanding across diverse audiences.
### **Preferred Qualifications**
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing or related field
* Experience with government agencies or public sector projects
* Knowledge of strategic planning, business process improvement and requirements elicitation
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead teams through complex, high-stakes projects
* Proficiency in project management tools and software including Planview
* PMP or similar training
* ToP or similar facilitation training

Requires occasional moving of articles such as boxes, accounting records, laptop computer, and portable printer.
