Job Description

We have open needs for Psychiatrists ONSITE for an Inpatient Psychiatric Hospital in Lakewood, Washington, near Tacoma. The Psychiatrist will provide extensive psychiatric services and work in a review, evaluation, or consultative capacity.

* Annual Salary is $250K – $305K depending on experience
* Full time, Mon – Fri
* Relocation assistance up to $12,000
* $10,000 for Board Certification
* $10,000 Sign on bonus
* Meet with mentally ill patient-inmates for crisis interventions, face-to-face interviews, etc.
* Conduct mental health evaluations including criminal, psychiatric, and substance abuse case history to assess patients current needs and make treatment recommendations.
* General adult, geriatric and forensic populations
* Psychiatric hospital serving western Washington that provides evaluation and inpatient treatment for adults with serious or long-term behavioral health issues
* Loan forgiveness program available up to $25,000 for qualifying employees
* Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and pharmacy plans

Qualifications

* A valid license to practice medicine in Washington State
* Successful completion of ACGME approved residency in Psychiatry.
* Ability to pass a background check including criminal record history
* MUST be able to speak and understand oral and written communication and write effectively in the English language.
