Job Title: Python Developer with RFID Expertise

Location: Hybrid- 3 days onsite at Bay Area, CA

Duration: 12 months

Job Summary: As a Python Developer specializing in RFID, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining software solutions that leverage RFID technology to optimize retail operations. Your role will involve integrating RFID systems, developing real-time tracking solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance inventory management, customer engagement, and supply chain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design, develop, and deploy Python-based applications integrating RFID technology.
* Implement RFID data processing pipelines to enable real-time inventory tracking and analysis.
* Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate RFID readers, antennas, and tags with software systems.
* Develop APIs and middleware for seamless communication between RFID systems and retail platforms (e.g., ERP, POS).
* Analyze and optimize RFID data collection, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to RFID integration and performance.
* Work closely with product managers, data analysts, and other developers to align RFID solutions with business goals.
* Maintain technical documentation for developed solutions.

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* 3-5+ years of experience in Python development.
* Hands-on experience with RFID technology, including tag programming and reader integration.
* Knowledge of RFID protocols such as EPCglobal Gen2, ISO/IEC standards, etc.
* Familiarity with retail industry workflows and processes.
* Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and data processing tools.
* Strong understanding of RESTful API development.
* Problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering efficient and scalable solutions.
