**Position Title**
: QA Automation Engineer

**Location:**
 NJ (Hybrid)

**Duration:**
 Long-Term Contract

W2 Position

H1B & H4EAD Only

Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly motivated QA Automation Engineer to join our team on a long-term contract. In this role, you’ll take ownership of automated testing processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure the highest standards of quality across application and database components. This is a hybrid role based in Iselin, NJ, and may require occasional work outside regular hours.

Key Responsibilities:

– Work independently with minimal supervision, managing tasks from start to finish.
– Identify and propose solutions to technical challenges; escalate issues when necessary.
– Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into testable technical designs.
– Design and execute comprehensive automated test plans for various types of testing (unit, integration, regression, performance).
– Effectively communicate across teams to ensure alignment and timely project delivery.

Required Skills & Experience:

General Software Engineering:

– 5+ years of experience in software development and solution design for applications and databases.
– Strong SQL development skills (5+ years).
– Proficiency with source control tools like 
GIT
 (3+ years).
– Experience using 
Gradle
 for build automation (3+ years).
– Familiarity with 
JIRA
 for issue tracking and agile project management (3+ years).
– Hands-on experience working in Agile development environments (3+ years).

Test Automation & Tools:

– Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing, including unit, regression, integration, and performance testing.
– Proficient in automation tools such as 
Playwright
, 
Selenium
, 
Cucumber
, 
Gherkin
, and 
TestNG
.
– Strong programming skills in 
Java
 (5+ years).
– Experience with performance testing tools like 
JMeter
 and 
Blaze Meter
 (3+ years).
– Familiarity with testing frameworks such as 
JUnit
 and 
Mockito
 (3+ years).
– Solid understanding of 
REST API
 testing (3+ years).

Additional Expectations:

– Must be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working under minimal supervision.
– Flexible to work outside standard business hours when required.
– Strong verbal and written communication skills.
