Location: Herndon, Virginia (Onsite)
Duration: Full Time / Long term Contract (All Visa welcome)

Skills
Key Skills Needed
* Primary Focus: Node.js (most important technology).
* Other Required Skills: JavaScript, TypeScript, Redux, React.
* Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks and tools.
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities
* Build reusable JavaScript libraries for web applications.
* Upgrade and modernize JavaScript and Node.js applications, including dependencies.
* Design and implement features for device orchestration and API integration at scale (e.g., retail checkout systems).
* Break down vague requirements into clear functional/non-functional specs.
* Lead the development process: requirement gathering, coding, testing, and debugging.
* Communicate clearly with team members and stakeholders about context, challenges, and impacts.
Required
Required Experience
* 5+ years working with:
* TypeScript, JavaScript, Redux, React.
* Application design using SOLID principles.
* Test-Driven Development (TDD).
* Monitoring and debugging production systems at scale.
* Contract-first development and automated testing experience.
* 3+ years creating dashboards and performing data analysis using Splunk, Grafana, and BigQuery.
Preferred
Preferred Experience
* Migrated large-scale projects to the latest TypeScript and Node.js frameworks.
* Hands-on experience with Point of Sale (POS) devices like payment terminals, barcode scanners, etc.
