**Position Overview**
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized **SAP Project Manager** to lead and manage complex SAP initiatives across multiple workstreams. The ideal candidate will bring strong financial acumen, deep expertise in SAP project delivery, and hands-on experience with enterprise Project & Portfolio Management (PPM) tools. This role requires the ability to operate effectively in large, matrixed organizations while driving collaboration, resource alignment, and portfolio governance.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Project & Program Management**
– Lead and manage multiple SAP workstreams simultaneously.
– Develop, maintain, and manage comprehensive project plans.
– Oversee projects involving SAP implementations, Web Applications, and Data Migrations.
– Monitor and manage project interdependencies across the portfolio.
– Identify, track, and proactively mitigate risks and issues.
– Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
– Ensure delivery within scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
**Financial & Reporting Oversight**
– Demonstrate financial acumen, including forecasting and reprojecting project financials.
– Track and manage project budgets and cost performance.
– Develop executive-level reporting and dashboards.
– Understand and report on key project metrics (schedule variance, cost variance, resource utilization, capacity trends, etc.).
– Analyze portfolio trends to inform strategic decision-making.
**Portfolio & Resource Management**
– Facilitate cross-functional connectivity between delivery teams, project managers, and resource managers.
– Drive capacity management and align staffing needs with resource availability.
– Assess and proactively address capacity constraints across delivery teams.
– Manage resource conflicts in coordination with portfolio leadership.
– Coordinate project staffing in partnership with delivery teams.
– Oversee PMs within the portfolio and ensure standardized ways of working.
– Maintain high-quality portfolio and resource data integrity.
**Stakeholder Engagement & Governance**
– Act as a key liaison between service managers, resource managers, and project managers.
– Support the Portfolio Lead in day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives.
– Establish governance structures and promote standardized methodologies.
– Demonstrate autonomy, adaptability, and strong collaboration across teams.
– Operate effectively in large, matrixed enterprise environments.
**Required Qualifications**
– Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field.
– 8+ years of SAP Project Management experience.
– Proven experience managing multiple concurrent workstreams.
– Experience delivering SAP projects involving Web Applications and Data Migrations.
– Strong financial management and forecasting experience.
– Hands-on experience with Project & Portfolio Management tools such as:
– Planview
– Clarity
– Microsoft Project / Microsoft PPM
– Demonstrated expertise in issue, risk, and dependency management.
– Strong executive communication and reporting skills.
– Experience working within large, matrixed organizations.
**Preferred Qualifications**
– PMP or equivalent project management certification.
– Experience leading SAP transformation or enterprise-wide initiatives.
– Background in SAP functional or technical areas.
– Experience managing portfolios and capacity planning at scale.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $53.28 – $64.17 per hour
