**Job Description: Data Modeler**

We are seeking a highly skilled
**Data Modeler**
to join our team, with expertise in designing, developing, and implementing data models and architectures using Azure Cloud technologies and Databricks. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in creating relational, dimensional, and multidimensional models, along with a strong understanding of OLTP/OLAP systems. As a Data Modeler, you will play a critical role in transforming business needs into actionable data models that support key business processes and advanced analytics.

**Key Responsibilities:**

– Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze user requirements through JAD sessions and other interactive methods.
– Design and implement enterprise-wide data architecture for both structured and unstructured data.
– Develop and maintain data models, including
**ER Diagrams**
,
**Star Schema**
, for OLTP and OLAP systems.
– Provide architecture and consulting services for Business Intelligence initiatives and data-driven applications.
– Create detailed
**ETL specification documents**
, flowcharts, and
**data flow diagrams**
for data migration and integration processes.
– Perform data cleansing, transformation, and auditing to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
– Develop database objects such as
**PL/SQL packages**
, stored procedures, and triggers in alignment with business objectives.
– Design end-to-end data solutions using
**Azure Cloud**
technologies and
**Databricks**
, integrating multiple data sources such as files, databases, and real-time APIs.
– Participate in the development of database schema design and performance optimization.
– Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data architecture aligns with project timelines and business goals.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

– Extensive experience in
**OLTP/OLAP System**
and
**E-R Modeling**
(Entity-Relationship), designing database schemas like
**Star Schema**
and
**Snowflake Schema**
for relational and dimensional modeling.
– Proficiency in
**Relational Data Modeling**
,
**Dimensional Data Modeling**
,
**Logical/Physical Design**
, and
**ER Diagrams**
.
– Strong understanding of
**SQL**
and relational databases, with hands-on experience in
**forward and reverse engineering**
database schemas.
– Expertise in
**Azure Cloud**
data and analytics services, and
**Databricks**
for scalable data engineering and analytics.
– Hands-on experience in
**data modeling tools**
such as
**ER Studio**
,
**Erwin**
, and
**SQL DBM**
for creating and publishing diagrams, as well as analyzing data sources.
– In-depth knowledge of data dictionaries and metadata management to ensure data integrity and consistency across models.
– Experience with developing
**Data Dictionaries**
and maintaining metadata for data models.
– Familiarity with
**ETL processes**
and data integration workflows, including documentation and specification creation.
– Knowledge of the
**CPG**
is a plus, with an understanding of relevant data challenges and solutions.
– Proven ability to create and maintain documentation for data models, ETL processes, and business requirements.

**Qualifications:**

– Bachelor’s degree in
**computer science**
,
**Information Systems**
, or a related field.
– 8+ years of experience in data modeling, architecture, and working with data warehouses and data lakes.
– Hands-on experience with
**Azure Cloud technologies**
,
**Databricks**
, and related data services.
– Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to transform business needs into effective data models.
– Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
– Experience in
**ETL processes**

, and large-scale data management programs.
