Title: Senior Backend .NET Developer

Location: Hartford, CT or Charlotte, NC

Duration: 12+ months

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

* Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable back-end systems using .NET and C#.
* Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to implement, enhance, and troubleshoot features.
* Develop and integrate APIs, microservices, and web services to support business requirements.
* Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.
* Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
* Write and maintain documentation, ensuring code quality and adherence to best practices.
* Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications and infrastructure as necessary.
* Implement and manage data storage solutions, such as SQL Server or other relational/non-relational databases.

Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
* Experience with .NET development (C#, ASP.NET Core, .NETCORE .NET Framework).
* Proficiency in relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL) and/or experience with NoSQL databases.
* Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
* Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
* Strong understanding of OOP principles and design patterns.
* Knowledge of version control systems, especially Git.
* Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices is a plus.
* Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
