Job Posting: Senior Java Developer (W2 Only)

Location: McLean, VA, Hybrid ( 3 DAYS, Tuesday through Thursday in McLean, VA)

Duration: Full Time /Long Term Contact (All Visa welcome)

Supporting: Large Financial Services Client

H1B Transfer will also work

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our Agile Product team. This is an exciting opportunity to design, code, and test critical accounting and reporting services architecture for a leading financial services client.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with a dynamic team of full-stack developers.

Design and implement modern solutions using Java 15+.

Develop and maintain micro services and RESTful APIs.

Ensure code quality through TDD, BDD, and static code analysis.

Optimize performance using tools like Maven, Jenkins, and Spinnaker.

Required Skills

Java 15+ development: 5–7+ years of experience.

Agile expertise: Experience with Scrum, Lean/Kanban.

Database proficiency: Strong SQL and DB2 knowledge.

Familiarity with code delivery pipelines and automation tools.

Preferred Skills

Additional Databases: MongoDB, PostgreSQL.

Frameworks/Tools: Spring Boot, Angular, Tomcat.

Microservices Architecture: Hands-on experience in building and managing microservices.

Web Services Integration: REST/EJB expertise.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent (advanced degree preferred).

3–5+ years of experience in designing and developing Java EE applications.
