Senior Network Architect

Job Description

City: New York, United States

Onsite/ Hybrid/ Remote: Onsite, 4 days a week

Duration: 6 months

Rate Range: $89/hr on W2 depending on experience (no C2C or 1099 or sub-contract)

Work Authorization: GC, USC, All valid EADs except H1b

Basic Qualifications:

• Perform risk and vulnerability assessments in network, system, and application areas, and using controls and policies to identify advanced threats or indicators of compromise.

• Define and propose infrastructure and cybersecurity best practices and secure development patterns.

• Coordinate security standards refresh tasks to evaluate existing standards and guidelines and coordinate document refresh with Staff Architects.

• Assist in developing security metrics and insights program

• Research and investigate new effective ways of delivering security architecture-as-code, building automation into the existing security review process workflow and developmer kits and pipelines.

• Partner with Security Engineering teams to design and implement telemetry to support security architectecture standards compliance and risk insights.

• Process FW escalatons requests, review configuration, troubleshoot mitigative solutions and leverage network scanning/security architecture tools, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Expertise working with in network security, network architecture, and/or cloud systems engineering

• Experience in coding such as Python and other programing languages.

• Experience with Splunk

• Experience building Splunk dashboards

• Twistlock

Required Education: BS STEM

Top Skills:

* 5-7 years minimum experience
* Must have network infrastructure, network design, network architecture experience. Will be troubleshooting in these areas.
* Not looking for someone with network ops experience.
* Scripting experience is nice to have – use python, lambdas,
* AWS Cloud is a must have -everything is built out in AWS Cloud
* Splunk -must have familiarity with
* Crowd Strike- team uses- must have familiarity with
* WIZ- another tool used on team
* Firewall experience must
* Port and Protocol experience
* Daily basis- team is aligned to Media and securing media products throughout. Handles all the network of the house.
* Team dynamics- high performing team, highly collaborative
