Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support our growing network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing advanced network architectures, ensuring high availability, performance, and security, and leading network-related projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, configure, and implement complex network solutions (LAN/WAN, VPN, Firewalls, etc.).

Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.

Manage routing and switching technologies (e.g., BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).

Configure and manage firewalls and security appliances (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet, etc.).

Implement network segmentation, VLANs, and network access controls.

Perform network capacity planning, performance tuning, and optimization.

Maintain and update documentation of network designs, configurations, and procedures.

Lead or support network upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.

Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement security best practices.

Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior network engineers.

Stay updated with emerging technologies and suggest improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

9+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering.

In-depth knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).

Strong expertise with Cisco, Juniper, or similar network hardware.

Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark, etc.).

Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Ansible, etc.) is a plus.

Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Strong understanding of network security practices and firewalls.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Certifications:

CCNP / CCIE (Cisco Certified)

JNCIP / JNCIE (Juniper Certified)

PCNSE (Palo Alto)

AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty (optional)
