Title : Senior Power BI Platform Engineer -W2 Only

Location: Hartford, CT (Onsite Only)

Responsibilities:
* Design and implement automated ETL processes to move, transform, and load data into Power BI datasets.
* Use Azure Data Factory, SSIS, or custom scripts for data ingestion and transformation automation.
* Develop pipelines for automatic report and dashboard creation with data refreshes.
* Utilize Power BI REST API or PowerShell for tasks like dataset refreshes, report deployment, and user access management.
* Integrate Power BI with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
* Automate testing, deployment, and version control of Power BI reports and datasets.
* Create solutions for monitoring and optimizing Power BI performance.
* Implement scaling solutions for handling increased data volumes and user loads.
* Automate data security policies and compliance in Power BI.
* Manage role-based access control, data masking, and other security measures with scripts and tools.
* Collaborate with data engineers, scientists, and analysts to develop automated solutions.
* Provide guidance for integrating Power BI with other data tools and platforms.
* Set up monitoring and alerting for Power BI services to detect and resolve issues.
* Maintain documentation of automated processes, configurations, and best practices.
* Continuously explore new automation technologies to improve efficiency.
* Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and incorporate them into automation strategies. Required Skills:
* Overall 9+ years Industry Expereince .
* Bachelor’s degree is a must.
* Strong understanding of Power BI features, including data modeling, report development, and Power BI Service administration.
* Hands on report migrations expereince from On prem to Cloud platform.
* Familiarity with tools such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Automation, Power Automate, and Power BI REST API.
* Experience with cloud services, particularly Microsoft Azure, for hosting and scaling Power BI solutions.
* Should be able to debug power bi gateway failures (data source refresh failures)
* Proficiency in languages like Python, PowerShell, and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).
* Knowledge of SQL and database management systems like SQL Server, Azure SQL Database, or other relational databases.
* Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins, or similar platforms for automating deployment workflows.
* Nice to have Healthcare industry expereince.
