**Job Role: Senior QA automation engineer**
**Duration: 6+ months**
**Location: Richmond, VA**

**Job Description:**
· Responsible for designing and implementing automated testing frameworks and scripts to ensure that software products meet quality standards and customer expectations.
**Responsibilities:**
· Design and implement automation frameworks to support the testing of software applications
· Select appropriate tools and technologies, define testing strategies, and develop reusable test scripts.
· Create and execute automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and technologies
· Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing
· Define test plans and test cases based on functional requirements and design specifications
· Identify and report defects using bug tracking tools and processes
· Identify opportunities for test automation and continuous improvement
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product owners, and other stakeholders) to ensure that products meet quality standards and customer expectations
· Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to automation testing.
**Qualifications:**
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field 3+ years of experience in automation testing
· Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar
· Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C#
· Experience with API testing, performance testing, and security testing
· Experience with Agile development methodologies
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $55.00 – $60.00 per hour
