Senior Software Engineer (Back-End)

NYC onsite

up to $180k + Eq + Benefits

Data Platform Startup – 100k+ users

Currently ~ 8 people

What skills will you come with?

* 7+ years building backend applications using Node.js
* Experience deploying to AWS
* Although a predominantly backend role – this role will interact with FE, Data and core API builders – so knowledge across how all interact is essential
* Experience across broader stack would be advantageous – React, Typescript, Postgres, Grafana

** What we are wanting is someone that can work as a Senior and comfortable with “technical leadership” not person leadership but contributing to technical and architectural discussing/ decisions **

What will you do?

* Work directly with the CTO and small team of founding engineers
* Collaborate on building APIs for new product features and experiences
* Build the services, pipelines, and data to power new product capabilities
* Support long-term scalability of product architecture as more users are acquired
* Ensure code and product quality
* Help to implement engineering best practices across development and deployment
