As a Senior Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:* Leading the development of world class software for the Healthcare Industry
* Implementing and incorporating good Security practices in Software Development
* Determining the most optimum solution for a given problem
* Supporting and collaborating with other engineers in solving problems and global teams
* Creating well tested, high-quality Software following a Test-Driven Development model
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:* Bachelor’s Degree or higher from (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution with 5 years of industry experience
OR* High school diploma/GED with 9 years of industry experience
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:* 4+ years of experience with Java, SpringBoot and SpringCloud
* 2+ years of experience with Docker and Linux
* 2+ years of experience with at least one scripting language (example: Python, Ruby, Bash etc.)
* 1+ years of experience with any deployment tool such as Terraform and/or Ansible
* AWS Cloud Certification
* Familiarity with Kubernetes, Consul, Prometheus, Rancher
* Cloud experience
* Open Source Software contributions
Work location: Choose 1:* Work Your Way Eligible (Employee choice to work remote, on site, or hybrid)
* Pittsburgh, PA or REMOTE
Travel: May include up to 5% domestic

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $119,076 – $145,537, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
