**Role: Sr. Technical Business Analyst/ Data Analyst**

**Location: Parsippany , New Jersey (Onsite)**

**Employment Type : Contract/Fulltime**

**Job Description**

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with strong data analysis and technical expertise in SQL, Python, and Snowflake. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring data-driven insights are translated into actionable business strategies.

**Key Responsibilities**

– Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document requirements.
– Translate business needs into data models, analytical reports, and dashboards.
– Perform data analysis using SQL and Python to support decision-making.
– Extract, transform, and analyse data stored in Snowflake for business insights.
– Design and validate business rules, KPIs, and metrics.
– Work closely with data engineers, developers, and BI teams to ensure accurate data delivery.
– Create functional specifications, user stories, and process documentation.
– Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and ensure deliverables meet business expectations.
– Present analytical findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**

– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
– 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in data/analytics projects.
– Strong expertise in SQL (query writing, optimization, joins, aggregations).
– Proficiency in Python for data analysis, scripting, and automation.
– Hands-on experience with Snowflake (data querying, transformations, warehouse concepts).
– Experience working with BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) is a plus.
– Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
– Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
