Client offers base + 20-30k GUARENTEED bonus; 100% paid medical

Client WILL do H1B transfers if needed

Responsibilities:

As a Storage and Server Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for:

* Managing storage and server environments: Overseeing NetApp, Cisco, and Pure storage systems, VMware, and Cisco hardware.
* Providing technical support: Troubleshooting escalations, providing workarounds and fixes, and offering Level 2 and Level 3 support.
* Automating processes: Creating automated solutions to address recurring issues.
* Educating the team: Sharing best practices and troubleshooting techniques to enhance self-sufficiency.
* Designing and architecting infrastructure: Managing the storage environment, configuring Cloud Volumes ONTAP and Azure Netapp Files, and contributing to datacenter server and storage hardware design.
* Monitoring and optimizing performance: Ensuring optimal platform performance, conducting Proof of Concepts, and managing hardware lifecycles.
* Creating documentation: Developing architecture artifacts and maintaining an inventory of technologies.
Requirements:

* 5+ years of experience in storage solutions (NetApp, Pure Storage, Cisco MDS switches).
* Expertise in Netapp multi-protocol environments, storage integration, and infrastructure design (Cisco UCS, Azure).
* Hands-on experience with Cisco UCS server platform and Cisco Intersight.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on detail.
* Teamwork and collaboration skills.
* Proficiency in Shell Scripting (Bash) or Python.
* Adaptability to learn new concepts and technologies.
* Effective communication with technical and business users.
* Positive attitude and professionalism.
Preferred Qualifications:

* Public cloud experience (Azure preferred).
* Scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell, REST, Python).
* Operating system knowledge (Linux, Windows).
* Multi-datacenter infrastructure experience and networking concepts.
* Configuration management tool experience (System Center, Puppet, Chef, Ansible).
* Documentation and SOP writing skills.
* Systems integration and management scripting experience.
* Application virtualization/delivery systems knowledge.
* Monitoring methodologies (WMI, SSH, agent-based, SNMP).
* Infrastructure as code development techniques and tools (Azure DevOps).
