Note: The selected candidate will work at a location in East Hartford, CT with the ability to work remote with approval from the Project Manager
Timetable:
* The selected candidate may work up to 40 hours per week at ITD in East Hartford, with opportunities for remote work.
Overview:
* The Information Technology Division (ITD) develops and maintains many computer systems including legacy and next generation applications that support various criminal court, public wellness, and national security matters throughout the lifecycle of a case.
* The ITD is seeking a consultant under the job title specified above to assist with designing and re-engineering various systems in its criminal justice systems portfolio.
Scope of Work
In addition to the standard skills and qualifications for the job class, applicants should have experience in modernizing or rewriting older systems to meet current business function and security requirements:
* Design, create, deploy, and maintain data warehouse and business intelligence solutions.
* Develop data modelling, ETL solutions, and BI/analytical content using Microsoft SQL Server BI stack (SSRS/SSMS/SSIS), Excel, Tableau.
* Respond to ad-hoc data requests for information by writing complex T-SQL
* Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to solve complex business problems, by gathering requirements, prototyping and testing, or enhancing existing solutions to meet new requirements.
