Our team is growing and looking for the best Speech Therapist to care for our wonderful patients.
**Speech-language pathologists**
are experts in communication. They assist patients who have disabilities or experienced traumatic events that left them with speech, voice, or swallowing impairments.
**Job Description**
– Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties.
– Develop and implement effective treatment programs.
– Provide counseling to patients and patients’ families about results of testing and recommended treatment options.
– Establish patient understanding, expectations, and goals for treatment.
– Create accurate documentation and reporting for all patient visits.
– Delegate duties to support personnel as appropriate.
– Maintain communication with staff and outside agencies per state guidelines.
– Refer patients to medical specialists in dentistry, psychology, or other related fields
**License Or Certification**
Must be in possession of current SLP certificate on or before the first day of employment.
CPR certification, TB skin test, Auto Insurance, and Driver License
**Education, Training And Experience**
**Minimum requirement:**
Associate degree in and/or graduation from a Speech-Language Pathology certificate program.
