Sr. Cloud Security Operations Engineer

H1B is ok but they need to have excellent communication. It is a hybrid role so they either need to be local or 100% willing to relocate. You know how it goes!

Onsite/Remote: HYBRID ***Minimum onsite requirement of 2 days per week***

Location: Atlanta, GA

Duration : 6 months

Rate : Competitive

Scope: Essential duties include:

– Responsible for day-to-day operations of cloud security to keep cloud risks and misconfigurations to a minimum and compliant with Cox standards

– Work with app teams to facilitate remediation of cloud misconfigurations and in some cases conduct the remediations on behalf of app teams

– Maintain and tune custom policies to reduce false positives and define new policies as needed

– Facilitate cloud vulnerability management, working with cloud resource owners to conduct patching within defined SLAs

– Support cloud architecture reviews for new solutions as needed

Skills – MUST HAVE

* Two plus years of hands-on experience either designing cloud solutions in Azure, AWS, and OCI, or managing cloud security remediation activities in all three public clouds
* An understanding of public cloud network architectures
Preferred Qualifications

* Experience conducting penetration testing of cloud environments
* Experience supporting cloud incident response activities
Job Type: Contract

Pay: $50.00 – $65.00 per hour
