**Responsibilities**

**This role is highly hands-on**

**ideal for someone who lives in DLP tools daily and knows how to investigate, tune, escalate, and automate security workflows.**

To support
**Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Security Operations**
team.

Core responsibilities will involve:

– Managing and monitoring DLP security platforms
– Investigating alerts and escalations
– Collaborating with security and infrastructure teams to refine security controls
– Supporting compliance and incident response functions

**Top Required Skills**

Candidates should have
**hands-on experience**
with:

– **Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Platforms**
—
*Symantec, Microsoft Purview, Zscaler, Forcepoint, McAfee, or Digital Guardian*
– **Security Monitoring & Incident Response**
– Reviewing and triaging DLP alerts (email, web, endpoint, cloud)
– Investigating user data movement and escalating high-risk events
– Tuning DLP policies to reduce false positives
– **SIEM Event / Log Analysis**
– **Knowledge of Core Security Stack:**
– *Firewalls, VPN, IDS, EDR, AV, Secure Web Gateway / Proxy*
– **Understanding of Data Classification & Compliance Frameworks:**
– *PII, PCI, PHI, HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA, SOX, PCI-DSS*
