As A(n) Senior Instructional Designer Within The Global Quality Systems & Compliance Organization At Solventum, You Will Have The Opportunity To Tap Into Your Curiosity And Collaborate With Some Of The Most Innovative And Diverse People Around The World. Here, You Will Make An Impact By

* Advise and consult with SMEs, stakeholders, Quality and Regulatory Organization including leadership, manufacturing locations, and teammates to guide the process of learning needs and training solutions, based on adult instructional theory and best practices.
* Contribute to design of new instructional modules & courses and re-development of existing instructional modules and courses.
* Engaging your expertise of modern adult learning principles and multimedia creation skills to create learning experiences and manage the project timeline from start to finish. This includes gathering and analyzing needs, capturing expertise from SMEs, prototyping solutions, writing content, creating appropriate interactions and multimedia, multiple stages of reviews and iterations, adhering to quality and company branding standards, launch communication and planning, coordinating translations, and measuring and evaluating training effectiveness.
* Implements modern learning technologies in process of course creation.
* Interface with, and manage, external consultant relationships and contracts to provide direction and meet training project milestones and deliverables.

Your Skills And Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

* Bachelor’s Degree or higher and at least 5 years of Instructional Design or Learning Experience Design in a private, public, government or military environment.

OR

* High school diploma/GED with 9 years relevant experience

AND

* Minimum of one (1) year working in a Quality System creating training material(s).

Additional qualifications which could help you succeed even further in this role include:

* Skilled at negotiating and counseling an audience which may not be knowledgeable in the subject area to help with change management. Demonstrates solid persuasion skills and manages differing interests and perspectives.
* Additional education in Instructional Design from an accredited institution or involvement in Instructional Design professional development organizations.
* Strong project management, time management and problem-solving skills.
* Experience with multimedia production software (ex: Adobe Creative Cloud Apps such as Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere Pro).
* Experience in incorporating adult learning principles, effective learning techniques, and interactions into design.
* Experience with eLearning authoring tools (ex: Articulate Storyline and Rise).

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $137,439 – $167,981, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
