**Job Description:**

– Design, configure, and maintain
**switching network infrastructures**
and
**wireless systems**
.
– Work extensively with
**Cisco hardware**
(routers, switches, access points, firewalls).
– Troubleshoot network issues across
**Layer 1 (physical)**
,
**Layer 2 (data link)**
, and
**Layer 3 (network)**
.
– Implement and manage
**network monitoring tools**
(e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark, Nagios) to ensure system uptime and performance.
– Assist in network planning and capacity management.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams for infrastructure upgrades and security compliance.
– Perform regular system updates, patching, and hardware refreshes.
– Maintain documentation for network configurations, policies, and procedures.

**Required Qualifications:**

– 10+ years of experience in network infrastructure roles.
– Strong hands-on experience with
**Cisco technologies**
(Cisco certification preferred).
– Solid understanding of
**network protocols**
and
**wireless networking standards**
.
– Proficiency in troubleshooting and configuring devices across
**Layers 1–3**
.
– Experience with
**network performance monitoring and diagnostic tools**
.
– Ability to manage and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.

**Preferred Skills:**

– Familiarity with
**firewalls**
,
**load balancers**
, and
**VPN technologies**
.
– Experience with
**cloud networking**
(AWS, Azure) is a plus.
– Knowledge of
**network automation**
(Python, Ansible) is advantageous.

A reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum for this position is $70/Hr to $75/Hr with Limited benefits or $140-150K
