Sr. Systems Engineer IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Open to H1B candidates. – Position is 60-100% onsite. Laptop specs: 2.30 GHz+ CPU Windows 10 Pro or 11 Pro 15”+ display 32gb+ Ram 512gb -1tb Storage Space Docking Station Keyboard Mouse Experience: • 5-8 years of experience preferred • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, OR equivalent experience in infrastructure engineering preferred Required skills: • Critical thinking and analysis • Strong sense of ownership • Highly curious • Fascination with big airplanes and travel • Able to work independently with minimal direction • Able to analyze, troubleshoot, diagnose, and determine root cause with minimal assistance • Able to create solutions and implement them with minimal assistance • Able to lift 50 pounds Typical Duties and Responsibilities: – Standard 3 days on site, more as required. – Travel up to 25%. – Implement technical requirements and solutions – Perform configuration and maintenance of applications and servers – Maintain system documentation – Support enterprise application performance management, monitoring and logging solutions – Troubleshoot and support systems and applications across on-premise and physical environments Desired Skills (mastery): – Windows Server 2019 – Powershell, BASH, or similar – Server virtualization technologies (VMware ESX Server, Citrix XenApp Server, Microsoft Hyper-V) – System monitoring tools (Dynatrace or others) – SSL technologies (https, sftp, SSH, TLS, etc.) – Airlines Experience Desired Skills (proficient): – Windows 10+ O/S – Ubuntu 18+ – Storage technologies (SAN and NAS) – TC/IP Networking – Network technologies (firewall, routing, LAN, WAN, DNS) – Application and Web servers – PuTTY SSH and Telnet Client Desired Skills (familiar): – MySQL – Apache
